Seahawks Set To Play Warmest Home Game Ever

The forecast tomorrow is calling for more than a great game. One week from playing one of their hottest road games in San Diego that saw many players leave the field due to dehydration, the Seahawks appear fairly certain to play the warmest home game on record. History shows the Seahawks play darn well when the Sun shines in CenturyLink Field.

The Weather Channel is predicting temperatures above 80 degrees for Sunday

Some like it hot

The warmest Seahawks game in CenturyLink Field is 73 degrees, played against the St. Louis Rams in September of 2009, according to Pro-Football-Reference.com. Seattle won that game 28-0. The only other game with temperature over 70 degrees was this years home opener that they won 36-16.

Seattle has won their last 10 games when the temperature was above 61 degrees

Seahawks teams are 15-1 overall when the game time temperature is above 61 degrees. Their one loss was an overtime defeat to San Francisco in 2008.
