The good news: Marshawn Lynch was at a “full go,” according to Pete Carroll today, and will play extensively on Sunday. Look for him to get the start with Thomas Rawls and Fred Jackson backing him up. With all three backs healthy, this is a top-5 ground attack going against a top-5 defense.
The bad news: Bobby Wagner is going to be a game-time decision with a pectoral strain he suffered last week in Cincinnati. What’s even more concerning is his backup, Brock Coyle, also might not play due to a knee injury. Worst-case scenario is the Seahawks are down to four linebackers this week: Wright, Irvin, Pierre-Louis, and Mike Morgan. The team is also still thin at corner with Marcus Burley missing more time.
The Panthers might be without two of their offensive linemen, but neither are starters. LB Luke Kuechly and tackling ace extraordinaire will be returning, just in time to face a 100%-healthy Marshawn Lynch.
