In 2014 this team made it to the Super Bowl with a receiver group relying on Doug Baldwin (his first season as a true WR1), Jermaine Kearse, Ricardo Lockette, and Bryan Walters. They got a handful of games out of Percy Harvin, but his memorable production were three touchdowns vs WASH all called back on penalties. The lead TE was Luke Willson. It was Lynch’s last great season as a Seahawk, so there’s that, and the OL included Max Unger for a good chunk of the season, but it was by no means a great receiver corp.

I got kind of tired listening to the handwringing on the podcast when its been proven that at the very least, Russell Wilson can produce with “pedestrian” talent.

-No mention of Ifedi leading all NFL players in penalties, I recall it being reported that he had 20 penalties last year with the good news that only 16 were accepted. Obviously a mental thing, but can it be fixed by the new coach?

-No mention that Rashaad Penny is the all time NCAA record holder with 7 kickoff returns or his being #6 in the NCAA, in the last 40+ years with an average KO return of over 31 yards per return! With the new KO rules, that IS and WILL BE significant.
